Great Lakes Guitar Society & Seconda Prattica International Guitar Festival and Competition

• Nicholas Goluses guitar  & The Alonso Drummond Duo guitar and piano
• Description: This concert will showcase a diverse programing of arrangements and compositions from many different genres. The selection of repertoire will represent some of the most popular guitar music from Spain, Cuba, Germany, France, Brazil, and Mexico to name a few.
• Admission: $20 general includes pre-concert reception

• SPiAC Arrangement Competition Finals Concert
• Description: Music Publisher SecondaPrattica.org is sponsoring an international arrangement competition. The nine selected scores will be perfomed in a live concert by Mark Delpriora (Juilliard/Manhattan School of Music), Kenneth Myers (Syracuse University) and Matthew Slotkin (Bloomsberg University) and adjucated by our esteamed judging panel. Along side the illustrious panel of judges, the audience will be asked to vote on their favorite piece by ballot and during the awards ceremony a prize for the audience favorite will be awarded.

• Roland Dyens guitar & Gaëlle Solal guitar ~ Featured Artists
• Description: This concert is designed to showcase the talent of two international artists that have contributed to all aspects of the guitar world. Both these artist have reached incredible international recognition for their accomplishments. This concert will be a night to remember as seldom do these two all stars share a stage.

•  Description: The finals of the Great Lakes Guitar Society Collegiate Performance Competition. In this concert, the three finalists will compete in a public showcase for the top prize.This event is open to the general public.

• James Piorkowski guitar ~ Featured Artist Description: In this final concert of the festival, James Piorkowski will present a program of solo classical guitar that will take audience members through a tour of the world as Maestro Piorkowski enlightens and dazzles them with his own arrangements and compositions.
